Old Ironsides
Andy found an old rope on the farm, coiled up and wet. Resembling turbulent waters, he created a shipwreck scenario from this kernel of an inspiration, titling it the nickname of the USS Constitution Battleship. In Andy’s rendition of “Old Ironsides,” which is purportedly the world’s oldest
commissioned naval battleship still afloat today (in Boston, where it’s docked), the boat is cracked in half. It is sinking – just like the Constitution itself, a document bastardized, and so often ruinous.
